To understand how censorship chills free expression, just picture yourself in the following scenario: you don’t have a woke, pro-Pharma ideology and you think you should follow the evidence, wherever it leads you. The evidence leads you to an opinion that is not especially friendly to the woke, pro-Pharma agenda - whether on transgender issues, vaccine harms and benefits, “inclusive” pronouns, or the efficacy of medical treatments that do not fill the pockets of Big Pharma shareholders.
Yes, I sometimes see the trade-off as going out in a blaze of ineffective glory with a frontal attack, or being behind enemy lines waiting for the right moment.
Full disclosure: I don’t use Snapface or InstaChat or any of those things, so my view is at least a little moot when it comes to being “deplatormed” -- nobody can take away from me that which I reject.
David, you did such an amazing job here. I am nurse whose state board of nursing was threatening our licenses if we spread "misinformation" online, so I had to accommodate the judgmental public, as well as the licensing boards. Now that we have data, I feel like I'm on the warpath of spouting truths. When people are traumatized by unhealthy relationships, (as we were by the media, the WHO, CDC, employers, and government), we tend to tip toe around like #3 option. We get creative but in my case, once in a while my emotions would cause me to say, F___ it! and I converted to #1. I paid for that. The point of my long-windedness is that we have all been ABUSED, and we are all (by way of our careful way of communicating about this), acting as TRAUMATIZED humans would. Thanks for your post. Well I thought I was becoming more creative and avoiding the magic words that would get me suspended but I guess just talking straight facts, like exposing the history of fraud of Big Pharma and their complicity in vaccine coercion, without pronouncing on the science of vaccines or Covid treatments, is enough to get you booted off a platform. As of today, my LinkedIn account is suspended for the second time. I will keep fighting and hopefully will get back on Twitter soon!
