In today’s episode, I discuss some extraordinary developments in the Canadian government’s standoff with the Freedom Convoy, in particular Prime Minister Trudeau’s invocation of emergency powers. What does this mean for the future of Canadian freedom, and what does it mean for the growing Freedom movement across the world?

The protesters were nearly 50% women and 50% French Canadian. There were groups of female friends in their 50's and 60's who drove across Canada to stand with the Truckers. Retirees slept in their cars for days on end to support the Truckers. Polish immigrants carried propane tanks as far as 3km to give to the Truckers.
What's ironic is that the Freedom Convoy had many of the elements of the utopia that progressives claim to strive for. There was free food, coffee and toiletries in tents across the zone. Class, age, race and place of birth wasn't an issue with anyone. Hugging, dancing and singing were all constant even in the face of Police aggression.
On Friday morning the Police started the mayhem by forcefully shoving to the snow a cane-grasping Veteran who tried to impede their advance. Their tyranny will not be soon forgotten.
There were two million Canadians in Ottawa February 12th and 13th. There would have been 2.5 million this weekend if they didn't block off downtown and try to terrify people into not coming.
