Many people commenting on the U.S. presidential elections would do well to ponder these words. If you follow some of the commentary critical of the outcome of the election, you'll find a simplistic view of good and evil. They often project evil onto 50% of the U.S. population—or perhaps a mix of evil and ignorance—preserving themselves as the enlightened ones, above brainwashing, ignorance, hatred, and evil.
